Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026
This site uses as few cookies as it can get away with. Most of what people call "cookies" here is actually localStorage, which never leaves your device.
First-party storage (never leaves your device)
These values live in your browser's localStorage. They are not cookies, are not sent with any request, and are never visible to us or to Google.
pf:theme— remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.
pf:quota:anon— your daily conversion counter, used to enforce the free daily limit of 10 conversions for signed-out visitors. Clearing it resets the counter for that day.
pf:quota:member— the same counter for signed-in members.
pf:session— your Google profile (id, email and display name), so you stay signed in between visits.
pf:anon-id— a random identifier generated on your device so anonymous usage can be counted locally. It is not derived from anything about you and is never transmitted.
Google Sign-In storage
If you choose to sign in, Google Identity Services stores a credential in your browser so you stay signed in between visits. That storage belongs to Google and is governed by the [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).
We use it to confirm you are signed in and to remove the daily conversion limit. We never see your password.
Advertising cookies
This site is supported by Google AdSense. ca-pub-0000000000000000 loads third-party code from Google, which may set cookies and read device identifiers to serve, personalise and measure advertising.
Google and its partners may use device identifiers to show personalised ads based on your prior browsing. To control this, visit [Google Ads Settings](https://adssettings.google.com/) or opt out of third-party vendor use at [aboutads.info/choices](https://www.aboutads.info/choices/).
The download countdown
Before each download we show a short sponsored break with a countdown. The countdown is stored only in the page's memory while the dialog is open — it is not saved to storage and cannot be spoofed by editing the page source.
Removing cookies and storage
Every browser lets you clear site data. Clearing storage for this site removes the theme preference, the daily quota counter and the ad-block notices. Signing out of Google, or clearing Google's own storage, removes the sign-in credential.
Clearing your daily quota counter simply resets the free limit for that day — there is no account behind it and nothing to restore.
